Adult Bible Study – “Civility”

CIVILITY – AMERICAN POLITICS AND CHRISTIAN RESPONSES

Civility, not exactly a term you would use to describe modern day politics. When
everyone is screaming at each other, it becomes difficult to conceive of a better
way of thinking about public debate.

You are invited to join the Adult Bible Study Group as we embark on a guided
study entitled, Civility – American Politics and Christian Responses, by James
Calvin Davis. We will consider principles of civility found in the Bible and
discover ways that we can act as change agents in setting a tone for more
respectful dialogue.

The study will begin on Sunday, September 24th, from 11:30 – 12:15PM in the
Church Parlor and will continue weekly over the next 4-5 weeks. For more
