SUNDAY SERVICE TIMES (Summer Hours): 8:30 AM / 10:00 AM
Welcome to the website of the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell!
We hope it will motivate you to find out more about us and our ministry. Most of all, we hope you will come visit us. You will find that we are an inclusive, welcoming congregation, one filled with energy and love by a people committed to spiritual growth through worship, study, fellowship, and service.
We offer worship services that are both inspiring and meaningful as well as programs of study that help us discern God's will. There are many opportunities for fellowship among our members, allowing us to support one another through our joys, sorrows, and concerns. Just as our ministries reach into our church, they also reach out to the local and global communities.
Our church has a rich history which you can read about here. We welcome you to this site and trust that as you learn about us you will wish, if you haven't already, to experience The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell personally.
Grace and peace,
|
Rick Sommers

Congratulations Rev. Noelle Kirchner!
Noelle E. Kirchner was formally ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament on June 14, 2008 by a Commission of the Presbytery of Newark at a special service held at First Pres Caldwell. She was installed as Associate Minister at that service as well.
When asked about the church's mission, Noelle stated, "I believe that the church as the body of Christ is called to reflect God's love in the world. We as church members promote reconciliation by working for justice where injustice exists, proclaiming God's liberating truth where deceit enchains, and speaking words of hope where there is suffering. I am delighted to be serving First Pres. I look forward to seeing you in worship!"

Dad's Inc.
This men's ministry is a fellowship opportunity for dads to talk about and share their experiences of being a father. Come join us Saturday mornings for lively discussions (and great breakfast!). Meetings are held most Saturdays, from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM in Fellowship Hall. Discussions have centered around books, such as Why Men Hate Going to Church by David Murrow, or topics provided by invited speakers. Check the calendar for meeting dates or call the church office for more details.

WE NEED YOUR HELP !
The church is trying to archive our history. Currently, tapes of services from 20+ years ago are detoriating. We need to archive these tapes to CD. It's an easy, enjoyable way to help preserve the rich history of our church. Please contact the church office if you are interested in helping.
