Welcome to the website of the
First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell!
We hope this site will motivate you to find out more about us and our ministry. Most of all, we hope you will come visit us. You will find that we are an inclusive, welcoming congregation, one filled with energy and love by a people committed to spiritual growth through worship, study, fellowship, and service.
We offer worship services that are both inspiring and meaningful as well as programs of study that help us discern God's will. There are many opportunities for fellowship among our members, allowing us to support one another through our joys, sorrows, and concerns. Just as our ministries reach into our church, they also reach out to the local and global communities.

Our 2011 Golf Outing was a Great Success!
With your help we raised money that was used to support the various missions of the church which included helping to support a youth misson trip to Pittsburgh. Thank you to everyone who helped support this charitable event.
We look forward to continuing this day of fellowship next year. We had a great time - you can see photos from this year's event here

Adult Mission Trip
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
November 28 - 29, 2011
Our Fall Adult Mission is scheduled for November 28th - 29th. We will be volunteering for two days at the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child collection & processing center in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are currently planning the details of this trip, departing on Sunday, November 27th, and returning on Wednesday, November 30th. We have a limited number of reservations at the Samaritan's Purse facliity. If you are interested, please contact Dave, Sharon, or Shelley as soon as possible and be the hands and feet of Christ helping those in need.

Dads with a Mission, Inc.
This men's ministry is a fellowship opportunity for dads to talk about and share their experiences of being a father. Come join us Saturday mornings for lively discussions (and breakfast!). Meetings are held most Saturdays, from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM at Rock'N Joes, Bloomfield Ave. in Caldwell. Discussions have centered around books, such as Why Men Hate Going to Church by David Murrow, topics provided by invited speakers, or current events. Check the calendar for meeting dates or call the church office for more details.

TREE OF LIFE Counseling and Education Service
Founded in 1970, Tree of Life Counseling and Education Service Inc. provides counseling at fees within a client's ability to pay. Over the years, Tree of Life has served thousands of residents in communities throughout Essex and neighboring counties on a nonprofit, nonsectarian and nondiscriminatory basis.
Tree of Life is a resource for individuals, couples, families and groups facing the challenges of everyday life. Stresses in today's changing world affect us all when attempting to cope with daily living, work and school, marriage and family relations, adolescence and aging.
Fees for our services are based on a sliding scale that takes into account a person's financial situation. Expenses for counseling services that are not covered by fees are paid for by the generous support of sponsoring organizations, the C. Ivron Reynolds Fund, donations from individuals and proceeds from fundraising events.
