The Washington and Lee University Singers in Concert

The Department of Music at Washington and Lee invites you to join the award-winning University Singers under the direction of Shane M. Lynch in their concert at 7:30pm on Friday, February 23, in the church sanctuary. Recognized as one of the finest collegiate a cappella choirs on the east coast, the University Singers, tour nationally or internationally every year, performing a wide variety of literature at major venues across the globe while serving as artistic ambassadors for the University in concert series, music festivals, conventions, and University outreach events. Admission is free. Featured in the concert is FPC member, Michael Colavita. Michael – a senior at Washington and Lee and the tenor section leader for the University Singers – grew up in the choir program at the FirstPres and is often a featured soloist in worship. Come and enjoy a wonderful evening of music and welcome Michael home to FPC.
