CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 138
I give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; before the
gods I sing your praise.
I bow down
before you and give thanks for your steadfast love and faithfulness.
On the day I called, you answered me and increased the
strength of my soul.
Your steadfast
love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. All: Let us worship God!

CONFESSION
CORPORATE CONFESSION
O God, hear our confession, for we still dwell in darkness.
We are afflicted and crushed by a sense of inadequacy. When perplexed, we
despair that there may be no hope. Persecution leaves us feeling forsaken. When
foes strike us down, we assume we’re destroyed. We hear that Christ resides
like a treasure within us. Transform our whole being so that we live in that
truth.
PERSONAL CONFESSION
In the name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
...Friends, believe the good news.
In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
