Adult Education

Adult Ed provides resources and community experiences that support you as you “Ask … Seek … Knock” on the door leading to a stronger relationship with our sovereign Lord.

ASK … SEEK … KNOCK
ASK … SEEK … KNOCK

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)

We are made by our Creator to be in a relationship with Him. The mission of Adult Education at First Presbyterian Church is to provide resources and community experiences that support you as you “Ask … Seek … Knock” on the door leading to a stronger relationship with our sovereign Lord.

Our hope is that we can help all people to build life transforming relationships with Jesus Christ and with each other, that we come to know the gracious heart of our loving Father, and learn to open our hearts to the work of the Holy Spirit within us. No matter where you are on your individual faith journey, Adult Education seeks to find ways to be responsive to your needs – especially during these very challenging times.

Daily Devotionals

The First15 website offers a daily devotional that takes about 10 minutes of your time. A growing relationship with God comes when you experience Him daily. Christians know the importance of a daily quiet time consisting of Bible reading and prayer, yet many struggle with finding a devotional resource that is both easy to understand and relatable to daily life. First15 writes new devotionals each day consisting of Scripture, reflection, prayer, musical worship, and a call to action. You can also download their podcast to your phone.
