Deacons’ Spring Clothing Drive

The Deacons are sponsoring a spring clothing drive to benefit our friends at St. John’s Soup Kitchen. Since the majority of guests at St. John’s are men, the focus of our drive this spring is on men’s shorts, short sleeve shirts, sweaters and light jackets. In addition, we are asking for men’s personal hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, combs, shaving gear, etc.) as these are handed out on a daily basis.


Donations will be collected at the First Pres church staff parking lot on Westville Avenue on the following two Saturdays in April:
Saturday, April 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
Saturday, April 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


In addition to the collection days mentioned, a drop-off bin will be accessible outside by the church circle now through the end of the drive, Saturday, April 30th. Should you have questions, contact FPC326deacons@gmail.com. Thank you for your support!
