All animals are welcome at our Animal Blessing on Saturday, September 21 from 10 a.m – 11:30 a.m. Animals must be on a leash or in a crate. Stuffed animals are welcome, as well! The entire event will take place outside on the church lawn, weather permitting. If it’s raining, the event will be held in the Fellowship Hall.

Bagels and coffee will be served for pawrents and bagels will be available for dogs. Children are invited to get their face painted and a balloon animal after the blessing.

Donations will be collected for NJK9. In addition to providing board and train options, they work with rescues to foster and train dogs in order to give them a better chance at being adopted. Recently they partnered with Rescue 22 to train dogs in need of a home as service animals for veterans.Items to help this organization include treats (greenies, grillers, Milk Bone, etc), collars (large, XL), and Petco/Petsmart gift cards. A box will be available between September 1-21st outside the church office to drop off donations. Stephanie and John of NJK9 will be attending the blessing. Come hear them speak about their work and feel free to ask questions!
