Dream Christmas

The children at African Dream Academy in Monrovia, Liberia live without electricity and running water. Their parents often can’t provide them with enough food let alone holiday gifts. Some of you have taken or will take a red bag at the back of the church or from the Christian Ed desk and like to shop with your children to fill it with goodies meant for that particular child. Please include a composition book, pens and pencils. Other Suggestions: a toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, Band aids, pair of socks, hard candy, paper, markers, crayons, glue, tape, other art supplies, sunglasses, a ball, an age-appropriate paperback book, a flashlight, toys for younger children (little cars, little dolls, etc.), toiletries for older girls, headbands, barrettes, jewelry, lip gloss. Enclose a note or card if you like!

Some of you don’t have time to shop, so we have compiled an Amazon gift registry if you find it easier to just shop online. https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/2LNL5EXNFHOY2
The bulk items will be used to fill the empty bags.

Either way, you will give the 1800 children at ADA a Dream Christmas! If you would like to contribute to shipping costs, we welcome gifts of $20 (or more). You can send a check written out to African Dream Academy Foundation and drop it off at church or you can donate online: https://www.africandreamacademy.org/donate

On behalf of the children at ADA, we thank you for brightening their lives.
