2019 Sunday School Offering: First Pres would like to emphasize the importance of giving to our community and to the least of our brothers and sisters. Because of this, we will be collecting an offering during Sunday School. Our hope is that with this offering, our children will learn to give happily from what God has given us in order to help others. Your child(ren) should bring their offering with them to their Sunday School classroom each Sunday. Someone will come around to collect from each classroom. At the end of the Sunday School year, we will donate all of the Sunday School offerings to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

February Foundations: We are very excited for February Foundations in Sunday School this year! Over the course of three weeks (February 10th, 17th, & 24th), we will teach our children a variety of prayers, doctrines, sacraments, and beliefs. Kindergarten and 1st grade will learn The Lord’s Prayer, 2nd grade will learn about Communion (they will also prepare communion on Saturday, March 2nd), 3rd grade will learn the 23rd Psalm, 4th grade will learn the Beatitudes, 5th grade will learn the Apostles Creed and 6th and 7th grades will learn the 10 Commandments. On Sunday, March 3rd, we will announce/present what each class has learned. We are excited for the opportunity to both teach and learn with the children! Please help us by encouraging your child throughout these programs as we grow together in the faith.
