HURRICANE RELIEF

With a second hurricane hitting the United States, as well as many Caribbean islands where friends, family and our Presbyterian siblings live, this question, “What can we do?” is still with us.

Pray

We urge you to continue your prayers – both for those still experiencing the storm effects of Hurricane Irma, as well as all those beginning to or continuing to clean up after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. This will be a long-term response, requiring on-going support and prayer.

Give

We suggest you give to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA). You can give to the Hurricane Irma response fund, the Hurricane Harvey response fund, or the general United States hurricane response fund (or more than one of these funds). PDA will be working with all of the affected presbyteries to assess and address needs, in the short term, and for the long haul.
So, pray and give, and reach out to friends in these areas. Words of hope and encouragement will go a long way right now, as these disasters are far from over.
