Movie Night: The Sequel

On Sunday, June 11, there will be a concert featuring the three handbell ensembles of First Presbyterian Church – The Chapel Bells, The First Church Ringers, and the Chancel Handbell Choir, along with the church’s Chancel Choir. 4 years ago, these groups performed a Movie Night concert that was very well received. That’s why this year’s concert will be, “Movie Night: The Sequel.”  Music from great films through the decades will be performed, with our special guest for the evening, silent film organist Andrew Peters.

Highlights include: “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” in BellSurround, a “Wizard of Oz” singalong, “The Magnificent Seven,” the Chancel Choir singing in Elvish, the Looney Tunes theme song, and many many more.

Sunday, June 11, at 7:30pm in the church sanctuary.
