Chili Lunch Fundraiser

ChiliLunchFBCCChili Lunch to Benefit Pittsburgh Project Teens!

“I don’t want to live like I don’t care. I don’t want to say another empty prayer. Oh I refuse to sit around and wait for someone else to do what God has called me to do myself” (from “I Refuse” by Josh Wilson)

The past four summers this has been our theme song for the Jr. and Sr. High Service Camp Trips to The Pittsburgh Project and this year over 50 teens have stepped up again to serve God by serving others in Pittsburgh! They will be spending a week during their summer break serving elderly and disabled homeowners by doing minor home repairs such as painting, dry-walling, plumbing and landscaping. Our teens also spend a collective of 500 hours serving God by serving others right here in our own congregation and community throughout the school year. The cost for these trips is high but we want to make sure that cost is not something that prohibits teens from joining us.

We hope you will be able to join us on Sunday, March 6th for a fun Chili Lunch and the opportunity to support our Pittsburgh Project Teams! Teens will be preparing and serving a delicious Chili Lunch immediately following worship in Fellowship Hall. Lunch will include Chili, cornbread, salad, dessert and a beverage! Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children (under 10) and will be available from any TPP participant throughout the month until February 28th or you can buy your ticket online until March 2nd.
